Orlando, FL

Recruiting Analyst @CoachGreen_3

During spring break, a plethora of prospects flocked onto the UCF knights campus to watch spring practices however none more important than 4-Star Defensive end Isaiah Nixon. The Edge rusher was in Orlando on an unofficial visit with the Knights and things went well. He was treated like a 4-Star prospect. He was able to hear from his position coach and get the ends and outs about where he would fit in.

The 6'5" 225 Edge rusher got a good glimpse of the program and came away thoroughly impressed. Even though he has bigger programs in his ear, the UCF staff is pressing to get him to re-think the process and turn his attention towards the black and gold. When asked about what intrigued him most about the program Nixon's camp said.

" He likes that its close to home and playing time would be available almost immediately. The biggest thing is the staff at UCF is putting on a full-court press and that means a lot to me. They are showing love"

I know it's still early in the process, but Nixon is certainly feeling the love that the Knights are showing and all that they offer as a contender in his recruitment. He will let things settle a little before finally narrowing down his list of Top schools. As of right now, Nixon is rated no. 341 Nationally and 67th best player in the state of Florida. He also currently hold 20 plus D1 Offers!
