Do It All Viking D'Angelo Hutchinson Commits To Iowa State

If you're familiar with the history of the Northeast Vikings Football Program, you would know that once upon a time they produced some of the best talent in Pinellas County in the since the late 70's, early 80's and the 90's.

The Vikings were once a "pipeline" to the University of Miami Hurricanes. They produced the following Selwyn Brown, Charles Henry, Derrick Golden and Bobby Byrd, those guys played when the program was at its apex.

However, its been quite sometime since they have had a athlete of D'Angelo Hutchinsons caliber. He is currently ranked the 133rd best prospect in the State of Florida and the 65th best safety in the class of 2022.

Hutchinson will compete as a Safety fielded offers from the likes Georgia State, South Dakota, Southern Mississippi, UCF and Western Kentuckey.

Here is a fact the Iowa State Cyclones recruit heavy in this area, currently they have two Pinellas County products on their roster, Tj Tampa who made his first career start last week (Lakewood) and Anthony Johnson Jr (St. Pete High) is starter and potential pro prospect.

Hutchinson stated, "The relationship that I developed with the staff made me feel that Iowa State is where I belong."

At the end of the day Hutchinson will make a impact before he leaves Iowa State is what Edgestone Sports believes. Congratulations D'Angelo Hutchinson your hard work has paid off and this is just the tip of the "Iceberg"
