"Burney" No 8 on top 25

ESPN recently released its top 25 sophomores for this up incoming 2019 season and as I skimmed through the list a certain young stud came to mind and I quickly scrolled until I saw his name sitting at no 8. It wasnt surprising at all for I knew he would be one on the list some where.

My Thoughts Exactly: Everything the short article said about Burney was spot on, I had the opportunity to watch Burney over the course of a few years at his high school in Clearwater, FL and from the first game i watched i became an Amari Burney fan! He had all the tools, Fast, Physical, made everything look effortless at times. He made plays and was always around the ball. He was definitely a difference maker.

If I can recall I believe 1 game he scored a touchdown 3 different ways rushing receiving and on a punt return. These type of players dont come around often. This is why I give him the praise that I do and I know this is just the beginning. The Gators really have a diamond in burney. What the Gators know we all will know real soon.

What they're Saying:

Big Things Coming: Burney just in his sophomore season has moved in the starting rotation as a LB and will bring an added instant impact to an already stout defense. I believe hes a perfect fit at his new position. Look for no. 30 to be all of the field for the orange and blue!
